Many people in the United States believed that African Americans did non belong in society, they were non considered as hu homo beings but as property. They discriminated against them at work, in school, and on the streets. They were segregated from allone else because of their skin color. Americans also believed that women did not spread rights. They had no voice in politics and that their role was to hitch at home, cook for their husbands, and take care of the children. They were not allowed to infix into anything that was tie in to men, such as school, sports, and work. As a result, they did not have equal rights. From this came the development of the Civil Rights action during the 1950s and 60s. Many Americans believed that the blacks were an lowly race and as a result, they did not let the m cross-file or write because they were afraid that they dexterity surpass them intellectually. They did not require the strivers to rebel against the plantation owners for their unsporting treatment. They were not considered to be human beings. They were considered as property to the slave owners and were treated as such.

They were uneducated, overworked, and most of the conviction malnourished. The whites bought and sold them exchangeable as if they were a tool.
